Dr. Matthew Schairer Education: • Honors graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine • Master’s in Animal Science from UF • Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University. Externships: • Bronx Zoo (NY) • Ocala Equine Hospital (Ocala, Fl) • Hagyard, Davidson, Magee (Lexington, Ky) • Mid-Atlantic Equine (Ringoes, NJ) • Gainesway Farms • Juddmonte Farms • Claiborne Farms Awards & Professional Affiliations: • Calder Award, FVMA Award, & Various University awards and scholarships • AAEP & AVMA Experience: • Shelton’s Veterinary Clinic (Saint Augustine, FL) • Two years, mixed practice, three clinic locations Matt and his family are excited to be in DeLand and look forward to the work ahead. |
